shudam ġharq-e-visāl-e-ū namī-dānam kujā raftam
I am lost in that beauty, and I no longer know where I have gone,
I am so absorbed in that closeness that I do not know where I have disappeared.
ġhulām-e-rū-e-ū būdam asīr-e-mū-e-ū būdam
ġhubār-e-kū-e-ū būdam namī-dānam kujā raftam
I am devoted to that bright face and captured by those soft, flowing locks,
I am like the dust of that path, and I do not know where I have gone.
ba-āñ mah āshnā gashtam za-jān-o-dil fidā gashtam
fanā gashtam fanā gashtam namī-dānam kujā raftam
Since the day I saw that moon-like face, I have given my heart and soul completely,
I feel as if I have faded away, I truly do not know where I have gone.
shudam chuuñ mubtalā-e-ū nihādam sar ba-pā-e-ū
shudam mah-e-liqā-e-ū namī-dānam kujā raftam
I am so deeply drawn to that presence that I have placed my head at those feet,
I am lost in that dazzling sight, unable to tell where I have wandered.
'qalandar'-bū-'alī hastam ba-nām-e-dost sar-mastam
dil andar 'ishq-e-ū bastam namī-dānam kujā raftam
I am Bu Ali Qalandar, absorbed in the name of the Beloved,
my heart is full with that love, and I do not know where I have gone.
