One of the major Sufi poets of Sindh, he was associated with Matiyari Sayyeds. Having spent most of his life in Meet province of Hyderabad district of Sindh, his poems give a wonderful glimpse of Sufi mysticism. He was quite influenced by Maulana-e-Rum, something which largely reflected in his poetry. After his death, his pupils anthologized his poems titled, ‘Risalo’. His poems are sung in various Indian ragas.
